Dieses Album klingt wie ein Video-Spiel, bedrohlich, ist glatt und oberfl\u00e4chlich, dieses Album fackelt nicht lange, du h\u00f6rst es und merkst gleich: Hier stimmt was nicht. Oder: Hier stimmt alles, du f\u00fchlst dich unwohl und erinnert.<\/p>\n<p>Fatima Al Qadiri, geboren in Dakar (Senegal), aufgewachsen in Kuwait und wohnhaft in Berlin ist Konzeptk\u00fcnstlerin, Musikerin und Produzentin. 2014 erschien beim Londoner <a href=\"https:\/\/hyperdub.bandcamp.com\/artists\">Hyperdub-Label<\/a> ihr Deb\u00fctalbum &#8220;Asiatisch&#8221;- zehn Tracks, die denen beinahe alles aufgefahren wird, was sich in Soundlibraries, Drum-Computern und Musikproduktionsprogrammen unter Stichworten wie &#8220;asian&#8221;, &#8220;chinese&#8221; oder &#8220;asiatisch&#8221; finden l\u00e4sst. Kultur-Essenzialismus wie aus dem kolonialen Lehrbuch, statische Repr\u00e4sentation, klischeisierte Rythmus-Pattern und Samples &#8211; aber mit Ansage und entsprechend irritierend und entlarvend. <em>&#8220;I&#8217;ve got a dragon tattoo on my arm\/And I mean to cause you harm\/ Speak Chinese if you please me\/ Speak Chinese if you please.&#8221;<\/em> hei\u00dft es beispielsweise im Track &#8220;Dragon Tattoo&#8221;, in &#8220;Shanzai&#8221; wird gleich ganz auf eine Ansprache in k\u00fcnstlicher, weil so nicht existenter Sprache gesetzt.
