Under the title ” What’s Two Degrees More?”<\/a>, the Education Laboratory Latin America – Climate Change and Environmental Conflicts<\/a> has published teaching material in the form of a booklet and a DVD for educational work in and out of school.<\/p>\n

The content focuses on various aspects of climate change and environmental conflicts in Latin America and their global interactions.<\/p>\n

Based on participatory methods of global learning, the Education Lab Latin America has developed workshop concepts on the topic of “Climate Change and Environmental Conflicts”, which are provided in the workbook:<\/p>\n

Divided into seven building blocks, there are numerous interactive and participatory exercises.
\nThe material DVD contains all presentations, copy templates and content materials needed to implement the exercises. Innovative methods include quiz shows, constellation games, role-playing games and business games.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“Using topics such as monocultural soy cultivation, the consequences of climate change for Nicaragua, the effects of so-called ‘biofuel’ or the conflicts surrounding a large dam project, the exercises convey what the abstract processes of global warming and environmental destruction mean concretely for people and societies in Latin America.
