contains an extensive and very well sorted collection of media whose main protagonists are Black children and children of color.<\/p>\n<p>The archive was created as a private initiative as a result of a search for resources that aim to empower and encourage, in particular, children affected by racism.<\/p>\n<p>For the person in charge of the project, the search for appropriate books, films or audios always means an active confrontation with (one&#8217;s own) whiteness, with racism and representations of black and white.<\/p>\n<p>The media shelf is intended to help other seekers find empowering media.<br \/>\nOn the website you can search for suitable material in the categories books (divided into German and English), fairy tales, DVD and audio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;Media Shelf (not only) for Children and Youth&#8221;
