Here, space is provided for critical discourse and contemporary art, in particular contemporary diasporic art.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, exhibitions, performances and events take place every two months in the form of a moderated &#8220;trialogue&#8221;: A curator invites another artist from Europe or North America and one from Africa, South America, Asia or Australia.<\/p>\n<p>With its program, SAVVY aims to fill a gap in the Berlin art scene, which has historically been characterized by a preoccupation with an East-West dialogue, as a result of which topics related to a North-South dialogue have long been neglected.<\/p>\n<p>For example, a major exhibition at SAVVY Contemporary in 2015 was:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/savvy-contemporary.com\/index.php\/exhibitions\/wsab\/\">WE ARE ALL BERLINERS: 1884-2014<\/a><br \/>\nA Commemoration of the Berlin Congo Conference<br \/>\nAn Exhibition curated by Simon Njami<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Your utopia is my reality and my reality is your utopia&#8221;.
