The issue contains several interesting articles that deal in a differentiated way with current social issues, (global) political relations, recent developments, ongoing power relations and popular culture in African countries, e.g. Kenya, Nigeria or Malawi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Africans themselves hardly have a say in the articles. Instead, the text contributions seem to be written exclusively by (white) Europeans.
