The Photographers in Solidarity describe themselves as a group of committed photographers in the tradition of social and reportage photography.

In Berlin and beyond, the artists independently accompany protest movements. They record these as visual material, they document, inform and take a stand.

The website of the collective presents movements that attract attention or create connectedness in a special way.

Current documented actions are the protest of Refugees in Berlin Lichtenberg against their bad housing, a monument occupation of Rrom_nja in Berlin in resistance against their threatened deportation, or the 10th demonstration in memory of the victims of colonialism and slavery in Berlin.

Photographers in Solidarity’s images can not only be viewed on the website, but are also shown as part of exhibitions or on location.
