All the contributions collected in the AfricAvenir volume “Resistance, Revolutions, Renaissance” deal with the fundamental upheavals on the African continent since 2011.
While movements and social protests against land grabbing, deregulation, privatization and genetic engineering are growing, new geostrategic wars are taking place in Africa. As a rule, these are legitimized by humanitarian interventions.
Contributions in the book are written as articles, lectures, interviews, blog and literary-musical texts. They come from activists, artists and scholars from the African continent and reflect the moment of upheaval from different points of view. (Cf. the book description of AfricAvenir)
