The Romani Elders is a website that celebrates works and achievements of “Romani Elders”. The website of the European Roma Cultural Foundation (ERCF) serves to make visible the experiences and knowledge of Romani Elders and to keep alive memories of previous struggles.
The goal of the Romani Elders is to contribute to social change and peaceful coexistence of all people in Europe through their work.
The intergenerational project aims to pass on its wealth of knowledge and experience to younger generations. Rrom_nja-Rights activism should thus be given a sustainable foundation and endowed with an inter-generational sensibility that will enable it to connect past Rrom_nja-Struggles with forward-looking activism.
