Apache Stronghold is an Apache campaign to save the sacred places of Oak Flat and Apache Leap from the international mining company Resolution Copper. It is a fight for human rights, for religious freedom, and for the preservation of Apache heritage and identity. These sacred places to Apache, along with many others, were included in a U.S. Senate deal with foreign corporations without consulting Native American communities. Mining would change or destroy these places forever.
