“Asian Germans” by Kien Nghi Ha is the first scholarly work to comprehensively address “Asian-Germans” or the diversity of Asian presences in Germany. Using the example of Vietnamese migration, the volume examines the diverse forms of diasporic life and emphasizes that this process must be thought of from the perspective of migrant subjects.
