dummyBiscay is an Afropolitan novel about the lives of Black people in Berlin by SchwarzRund. In the book, the author describes an everyday life between diasporic realities of life, psychiatry and queer family of choice. The protagonist Tue grew up with three parents and earns her living as the singer of a German-language indie band. As both the other band members and her shared apartment become strangers to her, she finds peace with Matthew, her family of choice.

With her novel, SchwarzRund comprehensibly describes what it is like to be black in a country of white people, without being able to connect this with points of reference on the African continent.
