Diaspora Reflexionen is the blog of a Muslim woman of color in Germany.
In her entries, she discusses, among other things, experiences of racism and the difficulty of addressing them within the culture of dominance. Regular foci of the blog are media representations of minorities, language, body and identity.
Recent texts deal with dynamics and conflicts that arise within political communities and familial contexts against a backdrop of marginalization and resistance. They name clues and ways around how they can lead into a viable emancipatory practice.
