Each One Teach One (EOTO) e.V. is a community-based education and empowerment project in Berlin.
In March 2014, the association opened its doors as a neighborhood library. As a place of encounter and learning, EOTO presents literature by people of African descent and imparts knowledge through intergenerational dialogue.
The reference library contains around 3000 works on the history and present of Black people – by authors from the African continent and the Diaspora – and is thus unique in Germany. As a neighborhood library, EOTO is open to everyone.
EOTO’s program also includes the Black Diaspora School (BDS), Network Inclusion Leader – NILE, and multiple projects and initiatives that enable self-empowerment, learning from each other, and community building.
