The reader from 2017 is aimed at multipliers in youth and education work and was commissioned by the Informations- und Dokumentationszenrum für Antirassismusarbeit e.V. from Düsseldorf.
Under the thematic headings “Nationalism ‘In Good German’ “, “Nationalism Theoretically”, “Nationalism and Society” and “Perspectives and Practice”, it brings together contributions, methodological suggestions and practical aids.
In the introduction, the editors write:
“The historical genesis of nationalism as well as its current social manifestations and its significance are to be analyzed and critically classified in their intersections with power relations such as racism and anti-Semitism. In doing so, the booklet aims to transfer theoretical and analytical insights into educational practice.”
