This adbust was spotted on a highway sign in the context of the demonstration marking the 13th anniversary of Oury Jalloh’s death in Dessau on Jan. 7, 2018.
On January 7, 2005, the then 37-year-old died in a holding cell of the Dessau police. The circumstances of his violent death – he burned to death tied hand and foot on a fireproof mattress – remain unexplained to this day.
