The Information Office Nicaragua e.V. has published a revised new edition of the Focuscafé Latin America for educational work with youth and young adults.
The workbook box/Fokuscafé Lateinamerika/des Informationsbüro Nicaragua with 5 booklets offers also in its second, strongly revised edition a multiplicity of interactive educational materials for the work with young people. The individual booklets on the topics of climate change and environmental conflicts, colonialism and racism, migration, and economics present activating and versatile workshop concepts of global learning. Using concrete examples from Latin America and Germany, they encourage a (power-) critical examination of global and
internal social conditions. At the same time, they establish a link to the lifeworld and everyday life of young people in Germany.
The booklets and the material DVD offer multipliers, political educators and teachers a broad selection of topics and methods. Easy preparation and implementation of the workshops is facilitated by clear presentations of processes, objectives and topics, further instructions and the provision of all materials required for use (worksheets, photos, videos, etc.).
