The African Courier is published in Germany and also appears in Cameroon, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone in South Africa and in some countries in Western Europe.

The magazine was founded to counter the one-dimensional images of Africa of disease, poverty and wars that prevail in Europe with realistic and diverse perspectives. In the magazine, which is published every two months, there are sections on “Africa”, “Europe”; “Business and Development” or “News and International” as well as “My life in Germany” or “Black People in Germany”: Under this heading, the article “My life in Germany” recently appeared, which is well worth reading. A history of Black people in Germany, which focuses on presences and significant life stories of Black people in Germany over the past 300 years.
