In her performance“World without Borders“, the artist Julia Friese processes the events surrounding a denial of entry visas for the artist collective “Fasokele” from Burkina Faso to Germany.
“Fasokele” should have come to Germany in 2013 for a three-month campaign tour. The visas were denied by the German embassy in Ouagadougou with absurd arguments, as afrique-europe-interact reports. The play “World Without Borders,” which addresses these events, was performed at Kampnagel Theater Hamburg in July 2013.
