“Afrokids” by Olaolu Fajembola is the first “baby and children’s guide” aimed at caregivers of Black children in Germany. In the book, the author addresses specific everyday situations and challenges that are rarely addressed in other guidebooks: for example, choosing a name, multilingualism, and dealing with racism. Olaolu Fajembola’s book is dedicated to young people, a group that has so far been ignored by the advice literature.
