The girls’ blog is an open feminist community project and sees its content as a response to and alternative to the “‘normal[s] youth or girls’ magazines.”
Among other things, Mädchenblog writes, the website is about the body, relationships, sexuality and friendship, psychology, pop and subculture, politics, school and education. In addition, ubiquitous sexism on and off the net will be made visible, discussed and criticized.
The girls’ blog seeks to implement insights from queer feminist theory and practice, using language that is understandable to as many people as possible.
