untitledMy Right Is Your Right! was launched in November 2014 and emerged from the desire of various actors to intervene more strongly in the prevailing “refugee policy”. The alliance, which began as a campaign at Ballhaus Naunynstraße in Berlin, includes activists, cultural workers, lawyers, refugees, church representatives, trade unionists, neighborhood initiatives, individuals and others.

The goal of the initiative, whose commitment is motivated by the protests and organizing of the refugees from the Gerhart Hauptmann School and Oranienplatz in Berlin, is to initiate political change together. A new broad network and (online) platform for the exchange of projects and actions was created in working groups and in a coordination group, and open extra-parliamentary round tables were organized. The alliance wants to build a long-term infrastructure that addresses and opposes everyday and structural racisms.
