Pambazuka News is a Pan-African online and email newsletter. It was developed in 2000 by members of Pan-African Communities in Africa and has since provided a platform for contributions dedicated to socially and politically relevant issues and social justice on the continent. The volume “Visionaries of Africa” by Moustapha M. Diallo tells the story of extraordinary personalities of the African continent in more than 40 portraits. The anthology Sisters and Souls, edited by Natasha Kelly, is dedicated to the Afro-German poet and author May Ayim, her legacy, and her influence on successor generations of Black women. In the book, published to mark the 20th anniversary of May Ayim’s death, Black women of different generations powerfully describe how they have been personally and politically inspired by the author and activist.
